The official notification regarding SSC Stenographer Recruitment for Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ 2018 has been declared by the Staff Selection Commission. SSC has published this notification on their official website. According to the notification the exam will be held in September 2018 (tentative).

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Recruitment Exam 2018- Eligibility Criteria 

1.     On the date of the exam, candidate must be more than 18 years old and less than 27 years old.

2.     Candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of 12^th Standard from a recognized board of education.

3.     Only Candidates belonging to India/Indian Citizens can apply.

Eligible candidates are required to fill the application form for SSC Stenographer Grade C and D through the online mode only before the specified date. Detailed information in regards to the same is given in the following.

How to Apply for the SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Recruitment 2018?

1.     Candidates have to go and register on the official website of Staff Service Commission.

2.     Then candidates have to fill one time Registration Form with all the mandatory information.

3.     Password and Registration number will be generated by the system.

4.     Candidate has to fill the application form and provide a copy of scanned photograph and scanned signature.

5.     In the final stage, candidate has to pay the application fee for the successful completion of application form.

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Recruitment Exam Pattern / Syllabus 2018

The SSC Stenographer Exam Grade (C and D) are conducted in 2 parts, i.e., written examination and skill test. There will be objective type written examination of 200 marks. Also, the exam will have a negative marking scheme of 1/4^th marks per wrong answer.

Skill Test:

Candidates qualifying the written examination will be eligible for Skill test (stenography). Typing speed by the candidates should be 100 words per minute for the post of Grade ‘C’ and 80 word per minute for the post of Grade ‘D’.

Selection Procedure for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Recruitment 2018

Candidates first have to appear for the written examination which will be a computer based exam. The written examination will be an objective type paper. Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for Stenography Skill Test. After the skill test is successfully conducted, a merit list will be prepared and then the final selection of the candidates will be done according to the ranks obtained by candidates in the merit list.
